Military Neutralizes 15 Terrorists in Precision Air Strike Near Pulka, Borno
Maiduguri, Nigeria—October 24, 2026—Troops of the Joint Task Force (North East), Operation HADIN KAI, have neutralized 15 terrorists in a precision air strike conducted north-west of Pulka in Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State.
The operation took place at about 11:50 p.m. on Friday, 23 October 2026, according to a statement issued on Saturday by Captain Mohammed Goni, Acting Military Information Officer of Headquarters Joint Task Force (North East) Operation HADIN KAI.
Intelligence-Led Success
The military said the strike followed credible intelligence and confirmed sightings of terrorist movements in the general area of Pulka.
After the air assault, ground troops moved in to exploit the location and consolidate the gains recorded.
Captain Goni noted that the successful engagement highlights the effectiveness of intelligence-driven targeting and coordinated military action in disrupting terrorist movements and degrading their operational capabilities.
“It also reflects the unwavering commitment of Operation HADIN KAI to denying terrorist groups freedom of action and preventing them from threatening communities within the theatre,” the statement added.
