Madrid, August 6, 2026 — Real Madrid have confirmed that Vinicius Junior has signed a new contract that will keep the Brazilian winger at the club until 30 June 2032, bringing a decisive end to a prolonged contract saga that had attracted strong interest from Arsenal.

The 26-year-old had entered the final 12 months of his previous deal and was free to negotiate with other clubs from January 2027.

That situation sparked intense speculation about his future and prompted Premier League champions Arsenal to explore a high-profile move for the attacker.
